ROCKFORD, Ill. (Oct. 25, 2009) -- 10 different players scored goals and four school records fell as the North Central College women's soccer team dominated the short-staffed Rockford College Regents, 16-0, in a non-conference match at Sam Greeley Field. Emily Page came off the bench to score a hat-trick while Stephanie Crutchfield, Shannon Finucane, Jennifer Guy and Laura Petersen all finished the afternoon with a pair of goals.

North Central got on the board in the fifth minute with Petersen scoring unassisted. Finucane scored her first goal of the game in the 21st minute to bump the Cardinal lead to 2-0. A Jennifer Guy assist set up Petersen's second goal of the afternoon in the 27th minute. The goal was the senior's 15th of the season as she breaks the North Central single-season scoring record of 14 set by Nicole Walsh during the 1994 season.

Amy Frazzini tallied a score in the 31st minute while a Petersen assist set-up a Guy goal four minutes later. Crutchfield scored two goals in a 23 second span, scoring off an April Kutchinski assist just 25 seconds before halftime while recording her second score with just two seconds left on the clock. The Cardinals took a commanding 7-0 lead into the half, outshooting the Regents (0-10) by a 32-0 margin.

Dominiqiue Collins opened up the second half scoring in the 50th minute with Finucane netting her second goal of the game two minutes later in the 52nd minute. Page scored just seconds later for her first of three goals on the day. Page tallied additional goals in the 84th and 87th minutes.

Hannah Brock scored her first career goal in the 68th minute while Brittany Jones scored her fourth goal of the season in the 80th minute. Erin Martin scored the game's 16th and final goal in the 89th minute off an assist from Natalie Vivacqua.

Cardinal goalkeeper Elise Manzie recorded one save for her fourth shutout of the season while her counterpart Sarah Mueller recorded 18 saves in the losing effort.

North Central's 16 goals establishes a new school single game record, smashing the old mark of 10 set in 1996 against Concordia University Chicago. The Cardinals (10-6) also set new single-season records for goals scored (52) and wins (10), breaking the old records of 38 and nine set in 1994 and 1998, respectively.

North Central closes out its season on Wednesday, October 28, taking on Augustana College at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
