2009 D3football.com All-America Teams

Dec. 21, 2009 - North Central College football player Josh Delancy has received All-America honors for the second time this season, as he has been selected to the 2009 All-America Third Team by D3football.com.

Delancy, a three-year starter at right tackle for the Cardinals, last week was named to the American Football Coaches Association All-America Team. He was one of five offensive linemen named to D3football.com Third Team.

A First Team All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin selection and a Second Team All-North Region pick by www.D3football.com this season, Delancy provided protection for an offense which ranked first among all divisions of the NCAA in scoring (49.0 ppg) and sixth in Division III in total offense (487.9 ypg). The Cardinals finished 8-2 overall this season and went 6-1 in the CCIW to claim a share of the program's fourth consecutive conference title.

Delancy's selection marks the sixth consecutive year that a North Central player has received All-America honors from D3football.com. Linebacker Matt Wenger was named to the Second Team in 2008.

D3football.com has selected a Division III All-America Team each year since 1999.
