WAUKEGAN, Ill. (Apr. 30, 2010) -
The North Central College women's golf team placed three individuals in the top 10 at the Robert Morris University Spring Invitational on Friday, placing third in the six-team event at Bonnie Brook Golf Course.

The Cardinals' team score of 349 was just six strokes away from matching Wheaton College's winning total of 343. The University of St. Francis was second with 347.

North Central's Alyssa Gaudio turned in her second first-place finish of the spring, carding an 18-hole total of 79 to share individual medalist honors with Lewis University's Nicole Tucker. The Cardinals' Mallory Carr also cracked the top five, finishing with a score of 85.

Marisa Miko posted a score of 87 to tie for ninth place, and Melissa Rosenberg capped off North Central's scoring by placing 32nd with a score of 98.

The Cardinals close out the 2010 spring season by participating in the Benedictine University Invitational Saturday and Sunday at St. Andrew's Golf Course in West Chicago.
