The Cardinals (9-2, 1-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) climb up one spot in the rankings after posting three shutout victories last week. Dominican University (Ill.) and Washington University in Saint Louis remain No. 1 and No. 2, respectively while Olivet College (Mich.) climbs up four spots to third. CCIW-rival North Park University is fourth with a 5-0-5 record while Calvin College (Mich.) rounds out the top five. Augustana College is the third CCIW institution in the rankings, maintaining the No. 8 position for the second consecutive week.
The Cardinals return to action on Saturday, hosting Illinois Wesleyan University at 2:30 p.m. inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium in the team's CCIW home opener.
