Mar. 5, 2012-- The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced Monday the participants in the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships with North Central College qualifying seven individuals and two relays on the men's side while the women qualified two individuals.

The men's team qualified Dan Benton and Dionte Hackler in the 400-meter dash, Zach Heerspink in the high jump, Robert Kapustka in the shot put and John Wood, Josh Winder and Thomas Stacey in the pole vault. The distance medley relay team of Tim Hird, Bai Kabba, Juliano Lodi and John Crain and the 4x400-meter relay team of Kabba, Hackler, Benton and Mustapha Olaoye also qualified.

For the women, Krista Cota qualified in the mile while Elizabeth Composto earns a spot in the pole vault.

The 2012 Championships will be contested at the Bear Recreation & Athletic Center on the Campus of Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Action is slated to get underway at 8:45 a.m. on Friday and will resume of Saturday at 9 a.m.
