HILTON HEAD, S.C. (Mar. 20, 2013) – The North Central College women's tennis team was defeated 5-4 by Edinboro University on the final day of the Cardinals spring break trip in South Carolina on Wednesday afternoon. 

Megan Marble and Kassandra Bernardo continued their strong play and accounted for three of the four victories.  Marble and Bernardo defeated Nevena Kulina and Lydia Browne in the No. 3 doubles spot 9-8, (7-5).  Marble also defeated Browne in No. 6 singles 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, while Bernardo scored a 2-6, 6-0, 7-6 win over Kulina in No. 5 singles.

Jenny Velasquez and Madeline Urban accounted for the other Cardinal win on the day, defeating RyAnne' Baldwin and Kendal Stephens 8-5 in No. 1 doubles. 

The Cardinals continue play on April 14, when they host Aurora University at the NCC Tennis Courts at 11:00 a.m.
