Biography
2018:
- Competed in seven races
- Won the individual title in five races and did not place lower than sixth in the other two races
- Recorded a season best time of 23:51.0 against primarily Division I competitors at the Louisville Classic, placing fourth overall
- Finished sixth at the Midwest Region Championship (24:40.3)
- Won the NCAA Division III National Championship with a time of 24:24.5, becoming the eighth runner in program history to do so and the first since 2000
- Three-time All-American
- Won CCIW Athlete of the Week accolades four times and was named the USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week three times
- Won the USTFCCCA Athlete of the Year Award after winning the national championship
- Raced on the past three national champion teams (2016, 2017, 2018)
- Academic All-CCIW
- CoSIDA Academic All-District selection
- CoSIDA First Team Academic All-America selection
2017: Competed in seven races for the Cardinals, finishing in the top five each time and placing in the top two five times. Placed second at the CCIW Championship with a time of 24:47.3. Competed at the Midwest Region Championship, placing second with a time of 23:37.7, then finished third at Division III National Championship (24:14.15) to earn All-America accolades for the second straight season. Won individual championships at Principia Opener and Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational. Named CCIW Athlete of the Week three times. Academic All-CCIW. Inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma (National College Athlete Honor Society).
2016: Competed in seven races for the Cardinals, posting four top-five finishes and two top-ten finishes. Placed third at the CCIW Championship with a time of 25:35.5 to earn First Team All-CCIW honors. Competed at the Midwest Region Championship, placing 5th (24:49.9). Went on to compete at the Division III National Championship, placing 18th with a season best time of 24:41.6 to earn All-American honors. Academic All-CCIW.
2015: Competed in eight races, highlighted four top-ten finishes, six top-20 finishes, and a season-best 2nd place finish at the Aurora Invitational (25:49.3). Finished 7th at the CCIW Championship with a time of 25:54.5, earning First Team All-CCIW honors. Competed at the Midwest Region Championship, finishing 20th (24:48.2) and went on to race at the Division III National Championship, finishing 77th (25:24.1). Academic All-CCIW and USTFCCCA All-Academic selection.
