Patsy Cargill '95 has more individual national championships than any other Cardinal in North Central College track and field history. She was also the first female student-athlete to win two national championships at the same meet.

Cargill won the 400 meters at both the 1994 and 1995 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships. She had a time of 57.04 in 1994 and 57.39 in 1995. She earned national titles in the 400 meters and the 400 hurdles at the 1994 NCAA III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Her time was 55.10 in the 400 meters and 1:01.06 in the 400 hurdles.

Cargill also added All-American honors in 1994 for the indoor and outdoor 4x400 relay teams.
