WHEATON, Ill. (Oct. 13, 2010) - The North Central College volleyball team dropped to 2-3 in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin play on Tuesday, as Wheaton College defeated the Cardinals in straight sets, 3-0, at King Arena.

The Thunder dominated the first set, 25-13, then followed up with 25-21 and 25-22 victories in the following two sets to complete the sweep and post its first win over North Central since 2007.

The Cardinals' attack was led by Kelly Ator, who finished with nine kills, while Ryan Lally totaled 27 assists. Sarah Eggert led North Central with 14 digs.

North Central hosts the Tiffany Robinson Memorial Tournament on Friday and Saturday at Gregory Arena. Action begins on Friday at 4 p.m. and resumes on Saturday at 10 a.m.
