Dec. 20, 2010 - North Central College's CJ Goldthree has been selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 13-19.

Goldthree, the Cardinals' first Player of the Week honoree this season, was honored after his performance in North Central's 97-87 loss at the University of Hawaii-Hilo on Friday. Goldthree led the Cardinals in scoring for the second straight game, putting up 23 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the floor (6 of 9 from three-point range) in 23 minutes.

Goldthree is averaging 26.0 points in his last two games and currently leads the Cardinals in scoring (12.3 ppg) this season.

North Central travels to face Benedictine University on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
