Sept. 13, 2011 - Four North Central College women's lacrosse players have received individual academic honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association for the 2011 season. The IWLCA released its annual NCAA Division III Honor Roll on Tuesday.

Attacker Amy Frazzini, midfielders Caroline Gully and Natalie Vivacqua, and defender Alison Musur were among the 219 student-athletes from 85 different institutions to make this year's Honor Roll. Nominees considered had a GPA of at least 3.5 or were in the top 10 percent of their team.

Frazzini and Vivacqua have been starters for North Central for the past three seasons, while Gully and Musur have been starters for the past two seasons.

The Cardinals had the highest number of selections of any team in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference. Albion College had three players make the list.

North Central went 7-7 to set a single-season school record for victories, and went 4-3 in the inaugural season of MWLC competition to qualify for the conference's postseason tournament. The 2012 season begins Mar. 10 at home against Kenyon College.
