July 31, 2012 - The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) will conduct its fourth annual live chat with its eight head football coaches on Monday, Aug. 6 and Tuesday, Aug. 7.

Augustana College's Rob Cushman, Carthage College's Tim Rucks, Elmhurst College's Tim Lester and Wheaton College's Mike Swider will join the chat from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 6. Illinois Wesleyan University's Norm Eash, Millikin University's Patrick Etherton, and North Park University's Scott Pethtel will join North Central head coach John Thorne on the chat from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 7.

The CCIW preseason football poll will be announced at the conclusion of the chat on Aug. 7.

Media, fans and other followers of CCIW football can join the chat by visiting the CCIW website on both days. During the chat, participants will be able to ask questions of all eight CCIW football coaches regarding the upcoming season.

The online chat will be conducted by CCIW Assistant Commissioner/Sports Information Director Mike Krizman and all questions will be screened before they are presented to the coaches. The coaches will try to answer as many questions from the audience as possible.

North Central opens the 2012 season on Saturday, Sept. 1, hosting the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. The Cardinals will open their chase of a seventh straight CCIW Championship on Sept. 29, hosting Elmhurst.
