2012-2013 NABC All-America Teams

Derek Raridon has been selected to the 2012-2013 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division III All-America Team. This year's selections were announced on Thursday.
Raridon, who was named the NABC's Midwest District Player of the Year last week, is one of eight First Team honorees, representing each of the eight regions in Division III.
Raridon adds the awards to the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Year and First Team All-CCIW selection he received in February and the D3hoops.com First Team All-Midwest Region and Regional Player of the Year honors he earned last week. He is a four-time All-CCIW selection and a two-time NABC All-District pick.
Raridon has averaged 14.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 51.4 percent from the floor, 46.2 percent from three-point range and 77.5 percent at the free-throw line. He has led the Cardinals to two CCIW Championships and two CCIW Tournament titles in his career, holding the school record for games played (109) and ranking second all-time at North Central in career scoring (1,678), assists (245), free throws made (449) and free throws attempted (557) and sixth in three-pointers made (123).
He is joined on this year's First Team by junior center Chas Cross from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, senior guard John DiBartolomeo from Rochester University (N.Y.), senior guard Colton Hunt from Randolph College (Va.), senior forward Chris Kearney from Catholic University of America (D.C.), senior center AJ Matthews of Farmingdale State University (N.Y.), junior guard Aaron Toomey of Amherst College (Mass.), and senior guard Andy Winters of Ohio Wesleyan University.
Third-ranked North Central (27-3)
has advanced to the quarterfinals of the
NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship for the first time and will face Middlebury College (Vt.) on Friday at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern time.
