Nov. 26, 2014 - The North Central College men's soccer program made the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic honors list for the fourth straight year along with two College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) teams.

The Cardinals (10-7-1) had a 3.01 overall grade point average (GPA) for the 2013-2014 year and this would be good enough for third in the conference.

The other CCIW teams to make the NSCAA honors list were Illinois Wesleyan University (3.31 GPA) and Augustana University (3.36 GPA).

To qualify for the award, a team needs to finish with a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. The NSCAA Team Academic Award started being awarded in 1996.
