Tess Godhardt was voted College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
Godhardt, the conference's leading scorer, averaged 25.5 points per game last week, along with 7.0 rebounds per game as the 24
th-ranked Cardinals improved to 20-2 this season, including a 9-2 record in CCIW play. Godhardt scored a game-high 27 points and added eight rebounds in 105-82 win over Augustana College last Wednesday, breaking a NCAA Division III record for 100-point games in a season (11). On Saturday, Godhardt finished with a game-high 24 points to go along with six boards in a 96-81 victory over Illinois Wesleyan University.
Godhardt's .580 field goal percentage currently ranks her atop the program's single season record book, while also ranking seventh on the single season free throws made list (110) and 10
th in free throw attempts (137).
This marks North Central's third CCIW Player of the Week award as Godhardt also claimed the honor on Nov.24, while
Jamie Cuny received the distinction on Dec. 15.
