April 18, 2018- After recording her 20th double this season and breaking a 25-year-old record for doubles in a single season, North Central College's
Emily Miller has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Softball Hitter of the Week on Tuesday, for the week of April 9 -15.
Miller earned the honor after batting .688 (11-for-16) with eight runs, six doubles, one triple, five RBI and a 1.188 slugging percentage for the four games played by the Cardinals.
She was a combined 5-for-8 with three runs, three doubles, one triple and one RBI in North Centrals 5-2, 7-1 doubleheader sweep at Aurora University on April 10.
In the Cardinals 10-6 win over Elmhurst, Miller was 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and three RBI, in game one of the doubleheader on April 12.
In game two, she went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double and one RBI in North Central's 9-0 shutout.
