April 9, 2018- North Central College's Taylor Clugston has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Softball Hitter of the Week. The CCIW announced its selection Monday. 

Clugston, a junior infielder from Bloomington, Illinois and Bloomington High School (Biology Major), is a two-time Academic All-CCIW athlete and was selected for the First and Second Team All-CCIW team in 2016 and 2017 respectively.   

On Saturday, April 7, while facing Millikin University, Clugston hit .667 (4-for-6) with one run, two doubles, three RBI and a 1.000 slugging percentage in the Cardinals two-game series sweep.  

She was 2-for3 with one double, one walk and two RBI in a 5-4 win over the Big Blue in game one, and 2-for-3 with one run, one double and one RBI in a 5-1 victory in game two.  

This season Clugston has a batting average of .392, with 20 hits and 22 RBI, including seven doubles and a home run.
