2017-2018 NABC Honors Court

Tommy Koth has been honored with a selection to the National Association of Basketball Coaches' (NABC) Honors Court, in recognition of excellence in academics. The honorees for the 2017-2018 season were released Tuesday.
The Honors Court consists of varsity student-athletes who have maintained at least a 3.2 grade-point average after at least two years of study. Koth is among 427 NCAA Division III players from 121 institutions to be so honored.
Koth, a double major in management and finance, played in 24 of the Cardinals' 28 games last season, cracking the starting lineup for the final four games of the campaign. He averaged 2.2 points per game, with a season high of 11 points coming Feb. 3 against North Park University. Koth is one of 18 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) representatives on the Honors Court.

The Cardinals finished the 2017-2018 season with an overall record of 19-9, qualifying for the Division III Men's Basketball Championship for the third straight year. The 2018-2019 schedule opens Nov. 17, when North Central hosts Heidelberg University (Ohio).
