Quarterback Club

Dear Cardinal Football Fans,

As we prepare for another exciting season of North Central College Football, I want to first express my sincere gratitude for your continued support. The success we have enjoyed over the years has been built on the commitment of generations of players, coaches, alumni, families, and donors who believe deeply in what this program represents.

The year ahead features one of the most demanding schedules we have faced, beginning with back-to-back matchups against two of the nation's top five teams according to early polls. Our season opens at home hosting Bethel on September 5, and then we travel to face Wartburg the following weekend. Every week, including our annual rivalry game with Wheaton on Homecoming, October 10, will demand our very best. We embrace that challenge and will take pride in having one of the hardest schedules in all of D3 football!

Fortunately, we enter this season with a veteran group of talented student-athletes who understand the standards and expectations that come with wearing our uniform. We return five starters on offense and six on defense, led by team captains Cortez Jones (OL), Jack Rummell (WR), Ethan Groark (DB), and Matt Janiak (LB). More importantly, we have young men who are committed to excellence not only on the field, but also in the classroom and throughout our community. They have invested countless hours preparing for this opportunity, and I am confident they are ready to compete at the highest level.

However, the reality of modern college football is that success requires more than great players and coaches. To provide our student-athletes with the experience and resources they deserve, we need everyone to step up in ways you may not have previously — it requires the full support of the Cardinal Football family. Whether through a financial contribution, connecting us with potential supporters, or increasing your annual giving, every investment helps strengthen our program and directly benefits the young men who represent North Central College each Saturday.

One of our highest priorities this year is ensuring our student-athletes have access to the very best recovery, rehabilitation, and health resources possible. The physical demands of our schedule make student-athlete wellness more important than ever. Investments in recovery equipment, sports medicine resources, nutrition, and overall player health directly impact our ability to keep our athletes performing at their best throughout a long and demanding season.
That is why I am asking for your support.

Many of you have faithfully contributed to our program for years, and we are incredibly grateful. At the same time, your support extends beyond financial contributions. We need your presence. Please make plans now to join us this season. Our players feed off of the energy, pride, and passion you, our alumni and supporters, bring to Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium. Packing the stands — both at home and on the road — sends a powerful message about the strength of the North Central Football family and creates a tremendous atmosphere and advantage for our team.

I invite you to join the Quarterback Club with a gift today. Enclosed is an insert detailing the giving levels, including the $5,000+ “Champion” level, which provides exclusive opportunities to engage with the team. Gifts can be made by clicking the link below.

As we begin this new season, I am filled with excitement about what lies ahead. We have exceptional young men, outstanding leadership, and the opportunity to accomplish something special, yet again. With your continued support, we can provide our student-athletes with the resources they need to thrive and compete for championships on and off the field.

Thank you for everything you have done for North Central Football. We are proud to carry forward the tradition you helped build, and we look forward to seeing you this fall.

Go Cardinals!

Sincerely,
Brad Spencer ‘04
