Frankie Saban M '21 joined the North Central College coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach for the Cardinals' women's golf program prior to the 2019-2020 season. Following the 2020-2021 campaign, Saban was named the head coach of the men's and women's programs at North Central.
Saban recently graduated from North Central with a master's degree in sports leadership. In four years as a player at Bradley, Saban earned All-Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) honors twice, including a second-place finish at the 2018 MVC Championship. She carded a second-round score of 68 in the 2018 tournament to match the third-best round ever by a Bradley player in competition and was named a First Team MVC Scholar-Athlete as a senior as well as a four-year Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar. Saban graduated from Bradley in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in hospitality leadership.
Saban becomes one of six women to serve as current head coaches of men's sports within the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) and is one of 28 women to serve as head coach of one of the 828 men's golf programs throughout all three divisions of the NCAA.
A native of Palos Park, Illinois, Saban graduated from Bradley University in May 2019 with a bachelors degree in hospitality leadership and a minor in Marketing. She owns a master's degree in sports leadership from North Central.
