The North Central College Cheerleading team works hard to promote school spirit for the campus community year round. Most notably, our program returned to 2022 NCA College Nationals in Daytona after a 5-year hiatus. We walked away from the competition with a 3rd Place finish in the DIII Intermediate Co-Ed division. In August 2022, our program earned a PAID SILVER BID from NCA Camp and will return to NCA College Nationals April 5-9, 2023. 

The Cheerleading team appears at all home football games, as well select conference matchups for both the Cardinal men’s and women’s basketball teams. In 2019 and 2021, the Cheer team accompanied the North Central football team to the respective national championship games. We were there on the sidelines when they brought home our first ever Division III National Championship in football. We look forward to many more years of cheering alongside our 2019 National Champs!

The Cheerleading team is an active organization on campus, and requires dedicated time from its members. Tryouts are held twice a year based on our needs as a team. All members of our team must have cheerleading knowledge, technique, attitude, and high performance quality.
