NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Oct. 1, 2007) - Dominic Sulo of North Central, Pete Ittersagen of Wheaton and Matt Denny of Carthage were named football players of the week in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Sunday after their performances during games played on Saturday, Sept. 29.

Sulo, a sophomore running back from Oak Forest, Ill., and Mt. Carmel High School, gained 205 yards and scored three touchdowns as 25th-ranked North Central posted a 61-34 win over North Park in the Cardinals' CCIW opener Saturday. Against North Park, Sulo scored on runs of 14, one and 31 yards in the win.
