Fanthorpe earns CCIW Offensive Player of the Week for second time

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Oct. 29, 2007) – For the second time this season, sophomore quarterback Aaron Fanthorpe (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North) was honored as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Football Offensive Player of the Week after his performance against Augustana College Oct. 27.

Fanthorpe led the Cardinals to their first victory at Augustana's Ericson Field since 1980 by leading the team in rushing and passing in a 31-15 win Saturday. Fanthorpe completed 11 of 20 passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for a team-high 106 yards on 17 attempts. Fanthorpe's passing touchdowns were of 10 and 2 yards.

CCIW Players of the Week

North Central hosts Illinois Wesleyan University Saturday, Nov. 3, at 2 p.m.
