NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Nov. 11, 2007) – North Central College sophomore kicker Anthony Bognanno (Moline, Ill./Alleman) was honored as College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Special Teams Player of the Week after his performance in the Cardinals' 56-10 victory at Carthage College Saturday.

Bognanno was a perfect 7 for 7 on extra-point attempts Saturday. His third extra point of the day gave him 81 in his career, moving the sophomore into the top spot on the all-time list. Bognanno is 44 of 46 on PATs for the season and 84 of 91 for his career. The old record of 80 was held by Mike Augustine '05.
