NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Sept. 12, 2007) - Senior outside hitter Maggie Kelly (Riverside, Ill./Fenwick) was tabbed as one of two CCIW Volleyball Players of the Week after her performance during the previous week of competition.

Kelly totaled 88 kills in five matches last week to help North Central post a 4-1 record. The 5-foot-10 outside hitter averaged 5.5 kills per game and had a hitting percentage of .380. Kelly had 20 kills in only 35 attempts in North Central's victory over Pomona (Calif.). She also reached 20-plus kills in games against UC-Santa Cruz and Concordia (Ill.). For her effort, Kelly was named to the all-tournament team at the Pacific Coast Classic.
