Sept. 16, 2008 - Fans attending North Central College's football game at Benedictine University on Saturday are encouraged to participate in a food drive to benefit the Woodridge Community Pantry.
All fans attending the game are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the ticket booth at the Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex. All fans making a food donation will receive $1 off admission to the game, and will also receive a gift certificate for a 10 percent discount at Passero's Pizza in Lisle.
The Woodridge Community Pantry provides monthly food supplements to families experiencing need, in addition to providing free school breakfasts to more than 700 students in grades 1-8.
