Sep. 15, 2009 -- Kyle Brady has been announced as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, after winning the College Division race at the Bradley Invitational on Saturday.

Brady claimed top honors at the meet, edging out teammate and runner-up Michael Spain by two seconds, finishing the 8,000 meter course in 24:41. Brady's performance helped the Cardinals sweep the top nine spots in the race en route to the team title. North Central's perfect score of 15 points easily outpaced second-place and CCIW rival Illinois Wesleyan University's 94 points.

The No. 1-ranked Cardinals return to action on Friday, September 18, traveling to Normal, Ill. for the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Illinois State University.
