CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Oct. 11, 2010) - The North Central College volleyball team is now 12-11 this season after a 1-3 finish at the Coe College Mabel Lee Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

The Cardinals dropped a 3-2 decision to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in Friday's first match before a 3-1 loss to Simpson College (Iowa) in the nightcap. On Saturday, North Central was able to post a 3-1 victory over the University of Dubuque (Iowa) before a 3-1 loss to the host Kohawks in the tournament's final match.

Crystal Wright finished with a team-high 48 kills during the tournament, while also finishing second on the team with 61 digs. Kelly Ator added 30 kills, while Jenae Harner put up 29.

Amber Ladwig finished with 10 service aces and 17 total blocks, both of which were team bests, and Sarah Eggert led the Cardinals with 84 digs. Ryan Lally finished with 171 assists.

North Central travels to face College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin rival Wheaton College (11-9) on Tuesday before hosting the Tiffany Robinson Memorial Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
