Oct. 12, 2010 - North Central College's Ryan Lally has been selected as one of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Volleyball Players of the Week for the week of Oct. 4-10.

Lally, a sophomore and the Cardinals' starting setter, was named the CCIW's Defensive Player/Setter of the Week for the third time this year after posting 214 assists, 32 digs and 17 total blocks in North Central's five matches last week, totaling at least 41 assists in each match. She turned in season-high 10 digs in back-to-back matches against the University of Dubuque and Coe College on Saturday, and also posted seven total blocks against Dubuque.

Lally also received Player of the Week honors on Sept. 8 and Sept. 28. She received the award once last season, when she was also named Second Team All-CCIW and the CCIW Freshman of the Year.

North Central (12-11, 2-2 CCIW) travels to face Wheaton College at 7 p.m. on Tuesday before hosting the Tiffany Robinson Memorial Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
