Oct. 19, 2010 - North Central College's Homecoming football game against Illinois Wesleyan University will be broadcast live on Naperville Community Television, Channel 17.

The telecast is produced in partnership with North Central College. NCTV17 sportscasters Alex Symonds and Ben Hutchison will provide commentary, with Marc Dahlquist to contribute reports from the sidelines.

The game can be watched live on Channel 17 in Naperville or on-line at nctv17.com through simultaneous video streaming. The game will also be re-aired throughout the week; check for air times at nctv17.com.

The Cardinals are currently ranked sixth in the nation in both NCAA Division III national polls and enter the game with a perfect 6-0 record, including a 3-0 record in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin play. Illinois Wesleyan (5-1, 2-1 CCIW) enters the game ranked 25th by the American Football Coaches Association. The two teams tied for the CCIW championship last season.

NCTV17 also produces two weekly shows about North Central sports, including "The Red Zone," which features the football program, and  "The Cardinal Report," which focuses on other North Central sports programs. Both weekly programs are hosted by Symonds and are also produced in partnership with North Central College.

Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 2 p.m. An audio broadcast is also available at  89.1-FM WONC, and live in-game statistics will be available at northcentralcardinals.com.
