Ryan Lally has been selected as one of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Volleyball Players of the Week for the week of Sept. 20-26.
Lally, a sophomore and the Cardinals' starting setter, was named the CCIW's Defensive Player/Setter of the Week for the second time this year after helping lead North Central to a 3-2 overall record last week. She was named to the Wheaton College Invitational All-Tournament team as the Cardinals went 3-1 during the weekend event. She finished the week with 196 assists (8.91 per set), seven service aces and 53 digs. She tallied 40 assists and 11 digs in 3-1 win over Lawrence University, 36 assists and 10 digs in 3-1 win over Cornell College, 45 assists, 10 digs and four service aces in a 3-2 loss to the University of Dubuque, and 41 assists and 15 digs in a 3-2 win over Carroll University.
Lally also received Player of the Week honors on Sept. 8 and received the award once last season, when she was also named Second Team All-CCIW and the CCIW Freshman of the Year.
