(Oct. 23, 2012) – North Central College junior Ricardo Serrano earned College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Player of the Week honors on Tuesday, after scoring two game-winning goals and adding assist in three Cardinal victories last week.

Serrano, a junior midfielder from Quito, Ecuador and a marketing major, scored North Central's first goal in a, 2-1, victory over Millikin last Wednesday and assisted on a goal by Lucas Habeeb in the Cardinals, 2-0, shutout win at Augustana.  Serrano capped the week by scoring on Sunday in North Central's, 4-1, victory over Concordia University Chicago. 

North Central (11-6, 3-3) looks to lock up a postseason bid in the CCIW Tournament on Saturday when they host North Park University in a pivotal battle in the CCIW race.
