– In the final game of the season, the North Central College men's soccer team fought College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) opponent North Park University, to a 3-2 loss Saturday night inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.

After neither team found the back of the net in the opening half, Jonas Pettersson got the Vikings on the board in the 54th minute off an assist from Fredrik Greiff, taking a 1-0 lead.

Just over four minutes later, Pettersson capitalized off a pass from Dennis Persson putting home his second goal of the contest, giving North Park a 2-0 advantage.

19 seconds later, Ryan Johnson cut the North Park lead in half, slipping one past Viking goalkeeper Tim Ahlberg, bringing the Cardinals within one goal of the lead.

The Vikings (11-2-4, 5-0-2 CCIW) would hold off the Cardinal offense the remainder of the contest, taking the 3-2 victory and ending the Cardinal's season.
