WHEATON, Ill. (Sept. 22, 2012) - The North Central College volleyball team turned in a second-place finish at the Wheaton College Tournament on Friday and Saturday, as the Cardinals won three times in four matches at King Arena.

The Cardinals (13-4) posted wins in both matches on Friday, defeating the University of Dubuque (Iowa), 3-0, and Loras College (Iowa), 3-1. North Central followed with a 3-0 victory over Lebanon Valley College (Pa.) before losing by a 3-1 count to eventual tournament champion Cornell College (Iowa).

North Central middle hiter Kedryn Orrison was one of seven players named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Cardinals will look to improve to 3-0 in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) play on Tuesday when they return to King Arena to face Wheaton. Play is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
