ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (Jan. 17, 2013)—The North Central College wrestling squad was downed at the hands of Augustana College, 32-7, in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) dual match Thursday night.
 
The Vikings (12-3) claimed eight of ten matches on the night en route to the commanding victory, snapping a seven match win streak for the Cardinals dating back to the 2004-05 season.
 
Nathan Segal got the Cardinals on the board at 149 pounds, defeating Walter Piech by decision, 4-2.
 
North Central also received a victory from Casey Greenberg at 197 pounds, cruising by Seth Whan by major decision, 9-0.
 
The Cardinals (0-8) travel to the Wheaton College Quad on Saturday, Jan. 19 beginning at 1 p.m.
