Oct. 14, 2013 - For the third time in the 2013 campaign, North Central College quarterback Spencer Stanek has been selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Football Player of the Week. The CCIW announced this week's selections on Monday.
Stanek became the first CCIW player to receive three Player of the Week Awards this season after leading the Cardinals to a 55-7 victory over Millikin University on Saturday. He completed 15 of 16 passes for 221 yards and three touchdowns, breaking his own single-game school record for completion percentage (.938). He also gained 31 yards on five rushing attempts and scored his team-leading fifth rushing touchdown before leaving the game with the Cardinals owning a 41-0 halftime lead.
