Fiala named Third Team All-CCIW

Full All-CCIW Team

(Nov. 11, 2013) – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin announced its 2013 All-Conference Volleyball Team on Monday morning and junior libero Jessie Fiala was named to the Third Team. 

The honor is Fiala's first all-conference selection and she becomes the 38th player in North Central program history to be named to the all-conference team.  Since the CCIW began sponsoring women's volleyball in 1986, North Central has had an all-conference member in every season and for 31 consecutive seasons dating back to when the Cardinals were a member of the Chicago Metro Conference. 

Fiala played in all 34 matches this season and led the Cardinals with 525 digs, which was good for fourth in the conference, and finished third in the league with 4.57 digs per game.  Fiala also finished second on the team with 25 service aces. 

Fiala was also named to the all-tournament team at the Tiffany Robinson Memorial Tournament, hosted by North Central, and the Benedictine University Eagle Classic.
