LISLE, Ill. – After dropping two matches yesterday on the first day of the Benedictine University Eagle Classic, the North Central College volleyball team bounced back to defeat Lawrence University and Concordia University Chicago this afternoon. 

Lawrence took an early one set lead over the Cardinals (12-21), but North Central rebounded and took three straight from the Vikings, 25-22, 25-15, and 25-17. 

Amanda Walker turned in a season-high 16 kills to power the victory, and Brittany Tickner had a career-high with nine.  Katie Connolly, AnnMarie Bachmann, Sarah Eggert and Jessie Fiala all reached double figure digs, with Fiala leading the way with 19.  Katie Connolly also produced a career-high 37 assists. 

For the second time this season, North Central swept Concordia Chicago.  The Cardinals won by three consecutive 25-19 scores. 
Amanda Hilmer led the attack with 11 kills and Bridget White added eight.  Fiala had 13 digs and Annie Wegrzyn chipped in 10.  Connolly again stepped in the setter position and passed out 29 assists.

North Central ends the season on Wednesday when they travel to Illinois Wesleyan University.  First serve is at 7:00 p.m.
