LISLE, Ill. (Sept. 12, 2013) – The North Central College men's soccer team won its fourth straight game Thursday night, making the short trip down the road to Benedictine University, cruising to a 3-0 victory.

The Cardinals (4-1) struck early as
Jake Johnson connected on his first goal of the season in the seventh minute, putting home a header off a pass from
Ryan Johnson to give North Central a 1-0 lead.

North Central took a 1-0 lead into the intermission, outshooting the Eagles (1-3) by a nine to three margin in the opening half.

In the 66
th minute, Brett Hruby increased the Cardinal advantage to 2-0, sneaking one past Eagle goalkeeper Derek Catlett, his first collegiate goal.

Ricardo Serrano capped off the scoring with an insurance goal in the 81
st minute, sending home a one-touch laser off a pass from
Chandler Olah.
