UW-Stevens Point Box Score

Oshkosh, Wis. (Sept. 14, 2013) – The North Central College volleyball team suffered two more defeats at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Pizza Hut Classic, falling to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Wartburg College. 

In the first match of the morning, UW-Stevens Point dominated the first two sets 25-18, 25-14, before squeaking out a 26-24 third set victory. 

Amanda Walker powered the North Central (3-8) offensive attack with seven kills while Laura Kluk had 19 assists.  Sarah Eggert and Jessie Fiala both reached double digit digs with 10 and 15, respectively.  The Pointers (10-3) were led by Emma Brunkhorst's 11 kills and Alexis Hartman's 31 assists.  Hannah Picel led the defense with 20 kills. 

In the nightcap, the Cardinals fell to Wartburg 25-14, 25-14, and 25-8.  Kedryn Orrison led the Cardinals with four kills.  Kluk passed out nine assists, and Fiala had eight digs. 

North Central heads to the Concordia University Chicago Fall Invitational next Friday when they take on Purdue University Calumet at 3:00 p.m. and Maranatha Baptist Bible College at 5:00 p.m.
