For the third consecutive week, North Central College freshman wrestler Layten Binion is ranked eighth in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Poll. 

The 133-pound Binion (19-4) is coming off a 3-1 performance at the Chuck Porter Duals hosted by Knox College to start the New Year.  The freshman defeated Wabash College's Robbie Carter 11-6 and scored a technical fall victory over Hannibal-LaGrange's Caleb McElfresh (21-6).  His lone loss, was a narrow 2-1 decision to Evan Obert, who is currently ranked sixth in the poll. 

Tonight, North Central (4-4) hosts the 29^th-ranked Augustana College Vikings at 7:00 p.m. at Gregory Arena.  Binion is slated to take on fellow freshman Sean McMahon (9-7).
