Oct. 7, 2014 - Junior Matt Koth was named one of this week's College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Players of the Week along with Illinois Wesleyan's goalie Mark Streid on Tuesday. 

Koth scored three goals and one assist in leading the Cardinals to two wins for a 2-0-0 record on the week. He scored two goals and an assist in a 3-1 win over the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Oct. 1 and followed with a game-winner in the 2-1 win over Carthage in the conference opener of the season. 

This was the first week a player from the men's team won the Player of the Week honors this season.
