Mar. 1, 2014 – The North Central College women's tennis team opened the spring season with a non-conference dual match, falling to Quincy University, 7-2 inside the Res/Rec Center.
 
In doubles play, the Cardinals' (8-6) lone victory came at the No. 3 position, as Clare O'Connor and Kassandra Bernardo defeated Elizabeth Kuenzi and Ashley Longshore, 8-2.
 
North Central's only victory in singles play came from Reynolds Cross at the No. 4 position, coming back from a set down to defeat the Hawks' (5-1) Anna Morrissey, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
 
North Central travels to Hilton Head Island, S.C., Mar. 23-26 for its annual spring break trip at the Spring Tennisfest.
