QUINCY, Ill. (Sept. 4, 2014) – The North Central College women's tennis team was undone at the hands of NCAA Division II opponent Quincy University, 8-1 Thursday afternoon in a non-conference dual match.
 
The Hawks (1-0) jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead, capturing all three doubles matches on the afternoon.
 
In singles play, the Cardinals (1-2) lone victory came from Clare O'Connor at the No. 5 position, outlasting Anna Morrissey, 6-7, 6-2, 10-5.
 
North Central will participate in the Quincy University Tournament this weekend, Sept. 5-6.
