Women's Tennis Drops First Match at Spring Tennisfest

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (March 23, 2015)­– The North Central College women's tennis team dropped their only match at the Spring Tennisfest, 7-0, against Elon University held in Hilton Head Island, S.C. as they wrapped up their spring trip.

The Cardinals (12-5, CCIW 4-3) fell in singles play as they couldn't find their groove to secure a win.

In doubles, Kelsey Forkin and and Clare O'Connor lost 8-2 in the No.1 spot. Katie Drone and Hanna Andersson were defeated 8-0 and Miranda Grizaffi and Karissa Schroeder followed with a 8-0 loss in the No.3 spot.

North Central returns home with the action on Saturday, April 11 taking on Benedictine University with competition set for 1 p.m.
