Nov. 8, 2017- The North Central College men's soccer team named
Jon Borzick and
Gavin Sanchez to the 2017 All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Second Team. The selections were announced on Friday, November 10.

Gavin Sanchez were this season's honorees, each playing a significant role in the Cardinals' success on and off the field.
Borzick, an anthropology and classical civilizations major, is a four-time All-CCIW selection and a three-time Academic All-CCIW player. He played in 16 games, starting 14 and led the team in assists tallying five. Borzick played a crucial role as Captain this season and leading the Cardinals with his impressive heading accuracy.
Sanchez, a sports management major, is a two time Academic All-CCIW player. He played in all 18 games and started 15 times. Sanchez led the Cardinals in goals and points scored, with 5 and 12 respectively. He earned his five goals in a span of four games helping North Central defeat three of its four opponents with all three game-winning goals.
The Cardinals (8-9-1, 5-3 CCIW) under the tutelage of head coach
Matt Klosterman, tied the programs 1994 CCIW 5-0 record this season and are determined to continue to build off this seasons success into next year.
