(April. 2, 2017) – The North Central College women's lacrosse team ended their weekend by winning their second game in as many days, defeating Kalamazoo College 13-8 in their final game prior to commencing College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) play, at Mackenzie Field on Sunday afternoon.

Emily Zadny picked up where she left off, scoring the opening goal of the game less than two minutes after play began.
Kalamzaoo bounced back in the form of two goals of their own, but their inability to contain the Cardinals' attack and senior

The Hornets came out of halftime with renewed vigor, scoring the opening two goals and making it a one-point game. Thankfully for the Cardinals, Maas opened their scoring for half with 18:25 left to play, following a ground ball from Truver and a successful clear attempt.

Thankfully for North Central, they were the better conditioned team and it showed in the form of back-to-back goals from Truver, with the first coming with 9:32 on the clock. Her second came on a free-position shot with 9:13 remaining, following Zadny obtaining the draw control.
North Central closed the game out in impressive fashion, as freshman
Mynk Richardson-Clerk made her presence felt. After collecting a ground ball, Richardson-Clerk added the lead with 6:46 remaining. She then proceeded to win the draw control and dish the ball off to Truver, who found Maas in scoring position with 5:26 left in the contest.
Following another successful Richardson-Clerk draw control, Maas scored on a free-position shot with 4:12 on the clock, giving North Central a comfortable 12-7 lead.
The icing on the cake for the Cardinals came when senior
