Apr. 26, 2017 - The 10th victory of the North Central College men's lacrosse team's inaugural season was achieved in dominant fashion Wednesday evening, as the Cardinals carved up Carroll University, 23-1, at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.

North Central (10-4, 2-3 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin) got goals from nine different players and outshot the Pioneers, 68-10, recording its second-largest victory margin of the season, topped only by a 25-1 win over Concordia University Chicago on Feb. 22.

Danny Boyle and Tanner James each scored six goals for the Cardinals, the highest single-game scoring totals for any player on the team this season. Noah Parrill notched four assists, also matching the highest total by a North Central player in a game, while Sean Tomonari caused five turnovers, Steven Faux finished with eight ground balls, and Nick Pardo tied the Cardinals' single-game season best with 14 faceoffs won.

Parrill, Fitzgerald, Ethan Hurst and Tommy Huizinga each scored twice in the victory, while Pardo, Tomonari and Jared Weaver each scored once.

North Central closes the season on Saturday, hosting Illinois Wesleyan University. Play is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
