CCIW Press Release 

Sept.12, 2017- North Central College sophomore Alexis Flores has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. The CCIW announced its selection Tuesday.
 
An Academic All-CCIW athlete and leading scorer with six goals during the 2016 season, Flores received this week's recognition after scoring a pair of goals in the Cardinals' 3-2 overtime win at Grinnell on Saturday.
 
Flores' first goal occurred in the 49th minute off an assist from Ryan O'Deen, which tied the game at 1-1. Alexis Flores' second goal, assisted yet again by O'Deen was the game winning goal in the 94th minute of overtime.
 
With this win over Grinnell, North Central holds a 2-2 record in non-conference play this season.
 
The Cardinals play Benedictine on Wednesday at Lisle-Benedictine Sports Complex in Lisle, Ill.
