Opening the morning against St. Norbert (11-13), the Cardinals opened up a 3-0 lead with a clean sweep of doubles play, as

At No. 3,
Morgan House and
Tiffany Smolik took down Anja Jacobsen and Nicole Pfotenhauer, 8-4 while
Diana Barcelata and

St. Norbert cut into the lead with a win at No. 4 singles, but Hougland earned that point right back with a 6-0, 6-2 drubbing of Swajanen at No. 2, before Barcelata clinched the match win with a quick 6-1, 6-0 victory over Paulson at the No. 1 spot.
Just for good measure, McGraw overcame a 6-4 first-set loss to complete a comeback win over Hetzel at No. 3 with a 6-3 second-set win while fighting out a 10-6 third-set tiebreaker.
In a tightly contested match against Saint Mary's (11-7) in the nightcap, Barcelata and McGraw were the first to finish in doubles play, defeating Alyssa Gulli and Lilly Chamberlain, 8-3 at the No. 2 spot.
After Saint Mary's evened the score with a win at No. 3, Hougland and Kanthaphixay fought out a crucial 8-7 victory over Monica Davy and Megan Davy to give the Cardinals what proved to be the match-deciding decision at the end of the day.
In singles play, Barcelata rolled Monica Davy, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1, while Hougland increased the match lead 4-1 with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Megan Davy at No. 2.
The Belles did not go down without a fight however, shrinking the Cardinal lead 4-3 with wins at each of the No. 6 and No. 4 positions, but Kanthaphixay was able to complete the day's sweep with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Gulli at No. 3.
